As a seasoned Child Development specialist, Career Counsellor, certified CBT practitioner and Educator with over 18 years of experience in the field of Education, I bring a multidimensional approach to counselling and skill enhancement sessions. My passion for education and continuous learning drives me to explore various aspects of the field, ensuring that I stay current and effective in my practice.
Having worked with a diverse range of students, from young children to college students, I have witnessed the challenges they face in navigating the competitive education system and the pressure to pursue paths that may not align with their true passions. I firmly believe that education and career should be sources of liberation and joy, tailored to each individual’s innate self.
My academic achievements, including an M.Sc. in Child Development, B.Ed. and M.Ed. from prestigious universities, along with specialized certifications in CBT, Guidance & Counselling and Student Profile Building, reflect my commitment to excellence in the field. I have also conducted impactful research on topics such as children’s perceptions, anger management, and stress among students.
In addition to my academic background, I have actively contributed to the education sector through roles as an assistant professor, PGT, COGMED Coach, and Career Solution Partner. My work with organizations like Pearson Academy India and Univariety has allowed me to further support students in their career journeys.
As part of my social responsibility, I have conducted workshops addressing important issues like child safety, career guidance, and innovative teaching methods in various schools and NGOs. My goal is to empower children to discover their true potential and pursue careers that truly resonate with their authentic selves.
